The Wombat Foundation’s resource site is in line with ACARA and the Melbourne Declaration’s commitment to ‘supporting all young Australians to become successful learners, confident and creative individuals, and active and informed citizens.’ Such students have skills in language, literature, inquiry skills, science, ICT, maths, art, geography and music. They develop self values and attributes of honesty, resilience, empathy and respect for others. They are able to work for the common good in particular sustaining and improving natural and social environments as responsible local and global citizens.

The site will be continually updated to ensure active web links, improved activities, accuracy, currency and ease of operation. Data on wombats will be segments of information, links and diagrams as a base to engage in the range of critical thinking activities.
